# Known limits

## Build provenance

The upstream project documents the source versions, main build command and
flags, but the exact Emscripten/emsdk, LLVM/clang/llvm-nm, CMake, make,
pkg-config, operating-system and architecture versions used for the published
bundle are not preserved. The exact complete patch and published build log are
also unavailable. Therefore this package does not claim a byte-for-byte
reproducible build.

That reproducibility gap is an engineering/provenance limitation. This document
does not treat an old Codex tool refusal, a support reply or the absence of a
byte-identical rebuild as a license term by itself.

## LGPL delivery route

The package provides upstream license texts, pinned source snapshots, the site's
separate integration code and replacement instructions. Which LGPL section 4
delivery route is appropriate, and whether these materials are legally
sufficient for a particular public distribution model, are not determined here.

## HEVC patents

HEIC uses HEVC/H.265. The LGPL software licenses do not themselves grant every
third-party patent right. This package does not determine jurisdiction-specific
patent obligations, royalties or commercial clearance.
